about
Jan Boon has a real passion for storytelling. He studied at the two major film schools in Brussels, then graduated from the Flemish Script Academy as a screenwriter. But when he got the chance to direct a commercial, he instantly fell for short-format storytelling instead. The feeling was mutual. That first spot got picked up by international festivals and landed him a second place at the Young Director's Award in Cannes. Jan likes visual, sharply styled work with a very particular brand of high-brow comedy.
