Lennart Verstegen
about
Lennart Verstegen finds beauty in small things and honesty in candid, real images. He graduated from the Dutch Film Academy in 2009 with a degree in cinematography, but discovered directing soon after. He started fast: Young Directors Award at ADCN in his very first year, then a shortlist at Cannes Lions the year after. His commercial for Megafon was named best Russian commercial of 2013, and Smoorverliefd won him the ADCN Grand Prix in 2020. Besides all that, Lennart works as a cinematographer on feature films like Rabat, Wolf and De Oost. An eye for images that still runs through everything he directs.
